Update:

Thank you for your patience with us as we continue to work through the details for our 2021 season. While the Province of Ontario has announced that youth sports leagues will open as part of phase 2, we are still waiting for guidance from the government on operational requirements for our soccer program. We are really hoping we can get the kids out this summer playing soccer.

As it currently stands, we are planning on running an 8-week house league program beginning the week of July 5th through to the end of August. We will follow up with more details as they become available, but we anticipate:

  • all parents will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging that league liability insurance does not cover Covid-19.
  • spectators will be limited to one per player and will be required to sign-in for each game.
  • players will need to complete a health assessment before each game.
  • we will be charging our regular fees for this season – and we will provide additional details about payments in a few weeks.

U5 and U7

U5 (Peanuts) and U7 (Tykes) will be running on Wednesday’s evenings beginning July 7th.  Unfortunately, our U5 and U7 programs are full. We will not be accepting any additional registrations for this age group. Our coordinator for these programs, Natalie Geerlinks has already been in contact with parents with children in this age group.

U9/U11 and U13

First year U11 players will be combining with the U9 age group (players born in 2011, 2012 and 2013) to make enough players to form a 4-team league. We will run another 4-team league combining second year U11 players with the U13 age group (players born in 2008, 2009 and 2010). We will be playing small-sided soccer with between 8 to 10 players per team. We are planning to run this league on Tuesday and Thursday nights beginning July 6. Depending on government regulations we are planning to have the U9/11 league run from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.  The U11/13 league will run from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm.  As we will have more teams to manage than normal at these age levels, we will be looking for parent coaches for both age groups.  If you are willing to help, please let us know ASAP by contacting us via email.

U15 and U21

For U15 and U21 we are still hoping to have some games to play with other local teams. This will depend on regulations and what clubs are running their programs. Practices will begin the first week of July and hopefully games to follow as things reopen.
